Trader gets 20 year term for raping minor girl in Mancherial

A fast-track court in Bellampalli sentenced a kirana shop owner to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 for sexually assaulting a minor girl. The court convicted the shop owner under the POCSO Act for the alleged assault on a six-year-old girl six years ago. The case was investigated by the then inspector B Raju and a charge sheet was filed before the court.
