TVK's Vijay to take oath as Tamil Nadu chief minister: Date, time, venue; all you need to know

Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has handed over the letter of appointment to TVK chief C Joseph Vijay as the new state Chief Minister at Lok Bhavan in Chennai. Vijay-led TVK secured support from smaller parties, including VCK and IUML, to stake claim in government formation. The oath ceremony is scheduled to take place at Nehru Stadium in Chennai on May 10 at 10 am. Vijay has been directed by the Governor to seek the vote of confidence of the Assembly.
