UK and allies sanction 'networks' enabling settler violence in West Bank

Five countries, including the UK, Australia, Canada, France, and Norway, have imposed sanctions on networks involved in financing and enabling attacks against Palestinian civilians by Jewish settlers in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. The move aims to hold extremist settlers accountable for settler violence. France has also barred the Israeli Finance Minister from entering the country due to his authority over settlement policies in the West Bank, which are considered illegal under international law. Israel has rejected the sanctions as political acts.
