US insurance firm The Standard opens GCC in city; to employ over 250 techies in next 18 months

The Standard, a US-based insurance provider, has opened its global capability centre at Embassy Tech Village in Devarabisanahalli, Bengaluru's outskirts. This facility, spanning 60,000 sq. ft., will employ technology professionals to develop technologies and platforms for voluntary benefits products. The centre aims to support The Standard's customers in the United States.
