Vipul Amrutlal Shah wins 16-year cheque bounce case linked to London Dreams; court convicts producers

A cheque dishonour case connected to the 2009 film London Dreams has been brought to a close by the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Andheri. The court has convicted the producers, PJ Singh and Gita Bhalla Singh, under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, for issuing a dishonoured cheque. They have been directed to pay the dues within 90 days, failing which they will face imprisonment of 9 months.
