Vishal Bhardwaj and Shaunak Sen join new film fund initiative supporting independent cinema

Humans of Cinema and Safarnaama Pictures have launched a landmark feature film co-production fund to support emerging filmmakers with a distinct voice and clear vision. The fund aims to back a film that is both festival-ready and engaging for local audiences. A high-profile jury, including actor Imran Khan, filmmaker Arati Kadav, and producer Aman Mann, will select the project. Renowned author and festival director Aseem Chhabra and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Shaunak Sen will also be involved in the initiative.
