Wadephul urges Iran not to overplay its hand in talks with Saar

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul urged Iran to return to the negotiating table following Iranian drone and missile attacks on the United Arab Emirates. He called on Iran not to overplay its hand and condemned the latest attacks. Wadephul stated that a return to conflict must be avoided and that Iran should not be permitted to possess a nuclear weapon. Germany and Israel share the goal of preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon and ending its ballistic missile programme.
