Kumar broke his silence on reports of charging Rs. 1.8 crore for the film, stating he did not receive that amount. He expressed his gratitude to the late Neeraj Vora, who wrote the film's story, and praised his contribution to Kumar's career and learning of comedy. Welcome To The Jungle is set to release in cinemas on June 26.
