Will announce pick for LoP after Cong announces CM: LDF

The Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Kerala will announce its Leader of Opposition after the Congress declares its nominee for the chief minister's post. The LDF convenor, TP Ramakrishnan, stated that the CPI(M) will announce its leader of opposition as soon as the Congress declares its chief ministerial face. The contenders for the post include outgoing chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and former state finance minister KN Balagopal. The LDF convenor said the CPI's demand for the deputy LoP post has not been discussed within the coalition.
