2006 Malegaon blasts case reached dead end: HC; raps NIA for overlooking evidence

The Bombay High Court has discharged four accused in the 2006 Malegaon blasts case, criticising the National Investigation Agency for ignoring evidence collected by the previous probing agency. The court stated that the case seems to have reached a dead end due to contradictory probe findings and insufficient evidence to hold the accused accountable for the explosions that claimed 31 lives.
