No move yet to reinstate one-way traffic norms on service roads

Motorists are facing significant snarl-ups on several service roads along National Highway stretches in Kozhikode city due to the delay in reinstating one-way traffic restrictions. The restrictions were initially lifted after the six-laning works were completed. Vehicles entering the narrow service road from both directions have disrupted free left movement at the junction, particularly near Thondayad Junction. Heavy vehicles are also hampering the flow of smaller vehicles.
