Kochi Corporation to frame by-law for maintenance of turfs, revenue generation

The Kochi Corporation plans to frame a by-law governing its artificial turfs and open playgrounds. Under this by-law, upkeep and regular maintenance of these facilities will be entrusted to third parties through a tender process. This move aims to address the Corporation's alleged failure to properly maintain its existing turfs and generate revenue for their upkeep. The Corporation currently owns two turfs in West Kochi.
