Case booked against folk singer Mangli, others over alleged ₹10 crore fraud

Punjagutta police have registered a case against singer Mangli, her brother, and others for alleged cheating, financial fraud, and criminal intimidation linked to a microfinance scheme. A complaint alleges that nearly 100 persons were induced to invest money with promises of high returns through film financing and related business activities. Investors claim that neither promised returns nor their original investments were repaid.
