Allied Health fields do not require NEET and are growing in scope with rising demand: Additional Director of Medical Education

Allied health fields such as Nursing, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy are growing in scope with increasing demands for professionals worldwide. These courses do not require students to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The government of Tamil Nadu is starting B.Sc Nursing courses in 11 government colleges due to high demand for nursing professionals in Europe and other countries.
