Net deletions due to SIR 5.2cr (10%) in 12 states/UTs; 2 crore included in Phase 2

Over 2 crore new voters were included across 12 states and Union territories during Phase 2 of special intensive revision. Total deletions across these states/UTs added up to 7.2 crore, with 6.5 crore absent, shifted, dead, doubly enrolled and 'other' electors identified and dropped from the rolls. After the roll clean-up, 45.8 crore voters remain on lists across 12 states and UTs.
