A lithium ion battery manufacturing project is being set up in Rambilli, Anakapalli district, with an investment of ₹8,175 crore. The project is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh's industrial base, create significant employment opportunities, and meet the demand for efficient storage solutions in renewable energy. The facility will handle battery cells, packs, and energy management systems at one location, generating around 3,000 jobs and supporting ancillary industries.
