8-year-old boy dies from snake bite in Kerala

An eight-year-old boy died after being bitten by a snake at his home in Thiruvananthapuram district. The boy was bitten while sleeping with his family and was first admitted to the government taluk hospital before being referred to the Medical College hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, where he died en route. A cobra was found near the home and beaten to death by locals.
