A barge carrying Timmy the humpback whale begins journey to the North Sea

A humpback whale stranded in shallow waters near Germany is being transported towards the North Sea in a flooded cargo ship by two tugboats off the Danish coast in Fehmarn, Germany. The whale was first spotted swimming near Germany's Baltic Sea coast far from its natural habitat in the Atlantic Ocean.
