‘All seafarers are safe’, says India's Shipping Ministry after Iran detains 2 vessels, takes Indian in custody

An Indian seafarer is among the crew of a vessel taken into custody by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. Two foreign-flagged commercial vessels, with 22 Indian seafarers onboard, were fired at by Tehran while attempting to pass through the critical corridor.
