Andhra Pradesh to give Rs 40,000 for fourth child, Rs 30,000 for third: CM Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu has announced incentives for families to increase the birth rate in the state. The government will provide Rs 30,000 immediately after the birth of a third child and Rs 40,000 for a fourth child. This decision follows an earlier proposal to provide a Rs 25,000 incentive for the birth of a second child. The incentives aim to reverse the state's declining population trend and maintain a replacement-level Total Fertility Rate of 2.1.
