Mamata Banerjee meets Sonia Gandhi as CID searches ex-Bengal CM, nephew Abhishek's Kolkata offices

Mamata Banerjee met Sonia Gandhi at Sonia's residence in Delhi, discussing coordination among INDIA bloc constituents. This was their first meeting in five years. The meeting occurred hours before the West Bengal CID conducted searches at the TMC's central office in Kolkata and at national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee's office in Camac Street. TMC's Rajya Sabha floor leader Derek O'Brien accompanied Banerjee to the meeting.
