Ashok Kirtania takes oath as minister in Bengal, and gets a warm hug from PM Modi

Ashok Kirtania took oath as a minister in Bengal, receiving a warm hug from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the swearing-in ceremony at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. Kirtania defeated the TMC's Biswajit Das by a margin of 40,670 in the assembly elections, retaining the Bangaon Uttar seat and strengthening the BJP's presence in the Matua belt. He was among several leaders who took oath as ministers, representing diverse communities including the Matuas and the Santhals.
