Bargi Dam tragedy: Bodies of mother, son found in final embrace

A cruise boat, Narmada Queen, capsized in the Bargi Dam reservoir in Madhya Pradesh, approximately 35km from Jabalpur. The boat was carrying around 43 people, according to local estimates. Rescue personnel recovered the boat and found the bodies of a mother and her 4-year-old son, who were still in an embrace, locked in a life jacket. The incident occurred during a storm, and many people on board were not wearing life jackets.
