Basavanna’s principles must be the guiding light in everyone’s life, says CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated Basava Jayanti celebrations at Kalamandira in Mysuru, remembering social reformer Basavanna who raised his voice against the caste system and superstitions in the 12th century. Basavanna rejected the caste system and propagated the message that people must first live as human beings.
