More than 700 activists write to EC alleging MCC violation in PM address to the nation

Civil society activists, former bureaucrats, and academics have written to the Election Commission alleging a violation of the model code of conduct by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his national address on women's reservation. They have demanded an inquiry into the address, claiming it was a "clear and blatant" violation of the MCC. A letter was addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner.
