BJP seeks cancellation of pro-Umar Khalid event in Bengaluru

A Bharatiya Janata Party delegation led by P.C. Mohan petitioned the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner seeking cancellation of an event in support of activist Umar Khalid, who is accused of conspiracy under terror laws. The event, organised under the banner 'Umar Khalid Prapancha', aims to show solidarity with Khalid, who is currently under arrest.
