BRICS-MENA envoys express ‘deep concern’ over war in the Gulf

Deputy Foreign Ministers and Special Envoys of the BRICS grouping and MENA met and expressed deep concern about the U.S.-Israel war against Iran. Delegates offered views and assessments on the war, indicating divergent opinions. This was India's first statement on the situation in the Gulf as the Chair of the BRICS, ahead of the ministerial meeting expected to be held in Delhi next month.
