Tamil Nadu election 2026: A poll boycott and blockade of EVMs in Harur constituency

Polling day in K. Eachambadi village in Harur constituency was marked by a near-en masse poll boycott. The village, with over 900 voters, boycotted the Assembly polls due to a dispute over shifting two high school sections to a neighbouring Scheduled Caste Colony. The boycott ended with residents demanding a repoll after polling was closed.
