BRS demands reputed public prosecutor in SIT investigating Bandi Sai Bageerath case

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has accused the Chief Minister of shielding POCSO case accused Bandi Sai Bageerath. The party demands a reputed public prosecutor be included in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case. BRS general secretary RS Praveen Kumar questioned police handling, alleging delays and inconsistencies in the investigation. He claimed the victim's mother was made to wait at the Petbasheerabad police station before the case was registered and pointed out differing approaches taken by two police stations.
