Catalonia's famed human tower climbers greet Pope Leo in Barcelona

Performers in Barcelona create a human tower, known as Castells, for Pope Leo XIV as he leads a vigil of prayer at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium. Human towers, or "castells", are a feat of equilibrium, strength and teamwork, and a crucial part of the proud identity in the northeastern Spanish region. The Castellers de Vilafranca group, known for upholding this tradition, performed for the pope during his visit to Spain.
