CET: First day goes smoothly with 96% attendance

The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to engineering and other professional courses was conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Thursday. The test went off smoothly with Physics and Chemistry examinations held across 745 centres in the state. A total of 96% of the candidates attended the examinations.
