Lisa Gill appointed Chief Justice of A.P. High Court

President of India appointed Justice Lisa Gill as Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court in consultation with the Chief Justice of India. This appointment is with effect from April 25, following the retirement of the current Chief Justice, Dhiraj Singh Thakur, on April 24. Justice Lisa Gill was previously appointed as a puisne judge of the High Court last month.
