Chinese Automaker Takes Aim At Ferrari With Wild New V8 Supercar

Great Wall Motor is developing a V8-powered supercar under its new performance division GF, reportedly standing for "Great Faith." The supercar will feature a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine and a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, with a total output of 1,184 horsepower in road-going form. A dedicated GT3 race car is also planned, with a production version expected to produce around 592 horsepower.
