Cochin chapter of IMA launches ‘Koode’ to tackle loneliness

The Cochin chapter of the Indian Medical Association has launched community-level interventions to address loneliness among individuals confined to their homes. Volunteer-led home visits and birthday celebrations for identified individuals are key activities. Surveys conducted at Mamangalam and Illathuparamb Pattancherry Residents Welfare Associations helped identify target groups, including children and the elderly, who are in need of support.
