Conditions ease in Italy's Tuscany after large wildfire

A wildfire in Tuscany has forced over 3,500 people to evacuate their homes. Conditions have eased, allowing most of those evacuated to spend the night in their homes. Fire services are making progress in battling the blaze on Monte Faeta, an 830-metre mountain between Pisa and Lucca. Around 7 square kilometres of woodland have been destroyed, with firefighting planes and helicopters deployed along with dozens of firefighters. The fire is believed to have been started accidentally by a farmer burning branches of his olive trees.
