Europe's EPC intergovernmental forum meets in Yerevan without Merz

A summit of the European Political Community (EPC) will take place in Armenia on Monday. The EPC, founded in 2022, aims to create greater unity within the European Union and other states in the region. The summit will be attended by almost all European countries, including Ukraine and Turkey, but will not take decisions, instead serving as an informal exchange between political leaders. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will not attend due to other obligations.
