DC pacer Ngidi rushed to hospital after head injury during IPL 2026 match

Delhi Capitals fast bowler Lungi Ngidi suffered a serious head injury while attempting a catch during an IPL 2026 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Ngidi fell heavily, hitting the back of his head on the ground, and was stretchered off the field in an ambulance. He was taken to Max Hospital for treatment and a concussion substitute, Vipraj Nigam, was named for the remainder of the match.
