EC acting like ‘BJP department’, claims Congress leader K.C. Venugopal

Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal has accused the Election Commission of acting like a "BJP department". He alleges that the electoral body issued a notice to party chief Mallikarjun Kharge over his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while taking no action on the Prime Minister's recent public address. Venugopal claims the Prime Minister's address was a clear violation of election rules and the Model Code of Conduct.
