73 Opposition MPs sign fresh notice to remove Gyanesh Kumar as CEC

Opposition parties have submitted a notice to the Rajya Sabha Secretary General seeking a motion to remove Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The notice lists nine charges of "proven misbehaviour" against the CEC, including partisan asymmetry in enforcing the Model Code of Conduct, public denunciation of a recognised political party, and administrative lapses evidencing institutional proximity to the ruling party. The charges are based on incidents and actions since March 15.
