EC suspends poll staff after booth left unattended in WB

Polling staff at a booth in West Bengal's Paschim Medinipur district were suspended after allegedly leaving the polling station unattended during voting hours. A reserve team was deployed and an inquiry ordered. The entire polling team stepped out together, reportedly for lunch, leaving the booth unmanned for some time. Polling continued at the booth with the reserve team.
