EC to ‘examine’ Opposition’s poll code violation complaint against PM

The Election Commission of India will examine the Opposition's complaint against Prime Minister Narendra Modi that his address to the nation was violative of the Model Code of Conduct. The complaint was made by several opposition parties, including Left leaders, who wrote to the Chief Election Commissioner alleging that the address was in violation of the poll code. The Model Code of Conduct division will examine the complaint.
