ED files chargesheet against five in West Bengal ‘illegal’ coal syndicate case

The Enforcement Directorate has filed a prosecution complaint against five accused persons in connection with illegal mining, transportation, and sale of coal in the Durgapur-Asansol belt of West Bengal. The accused were involved in the use of forged documents and extortion. They were also arrested by the agency for their alleged involvement in these activities.
