Engineering student harassed in Vijayawada auto, accused booked after Sakthi App alert

An engineering student was allegedly harassed by an auto driver on her way from Vijayawada to Nambur late at night. She boarded the auto at the Pandit Nehru Bus Station in Vijayawada around midnight and hired it to Nambur. The driver touched her inappropriately and repeatedly asked for her phone number, prompting her to alert the police through the Sakthi App. A case has been registered against the driver.
