EU ministers to increase pressure over deported Ukrainian children

European Union foreign ministers are set to impose further sanctions on individuals and entities responsible for the deportation and forced adoption of Ukrainian children by Russia. The sanctions will include asset freezes within the EU and entry bans for individuals. An international coalition working to secure the return of Ukrainian children will also convene, with Ukrainian Foreign Minister expected to attend. The EU is also discussing possible sanctions over Israeli settlement activity in the occupied West Bank.
