Farmers question ₹800 per tonne gap in sugarcane pricing between north and south Karnataka

Sugarcane farmers staged a protest outside the Deputy Commissioner's office in Mysuru demanding the immediate release of pending payments. They warned of an indefinite dharna if their demands are not met within 10 days. The protesters urged the district administration to direct Bannari Sugar Factory to clear pending dues to farmers.
