French city reels from teen killing in drug-linked shooting

France's Interior Minister has pledged to stamp out drug crime after a 15-year-old was shot dead in the western city of Nantes. The shooting occurred in a suspected settling of scores linked to dealing and also wounded a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old. Dealing spots near residential buildings and gangs ensnaring teenagers into the trade are a concern in several cities in France. The minister said dealing spots are set up in places where people live, and young people are often caught in the crossfire.
