Governor Kemp signs executive order to suspend gas tax for 2 more weeks

Georgia has suspended its gas tax, making it one of only two states to do so. The suspension, initially passed by the Georgia Senate in March, is expected to continue through June 3. The average cost of a gallon of regular gas in the state is currently $4.02, which is 50 cents less than the national average. This relief is intended to help Georgians during the Memorial Day travel weekend.
