‘Gunmen fired from both sides, killing planned over 3-4 days’: What we know on murder of Suvendu Adhikari's PA

Chandranath Rath, personal assistant to BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in West Bengal's Madhyamgram. Rath suffered bullet injuries to the right side of his abdomen and left chest, with bullets piercing his heart. The attackers fired from both sides of Rath's SUV, which was intercepted by motorcycle-borne assailants near Doharia in Madhyamgram. The driver of the SUV also sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
