Haifa Port opens new cruise terminal as Israel’s tourism sector eyes recovery

Haifa Port has inaugurated a new cruise terminal as part of its effort to strengthen Israel's position as the main maritime gateway for cruise tourism. The terminal, built at an investment of over NIS 16 million, is designed to handle two large cruise ships at the same time and will have capacity for up to one million passengers a year. The upgraded facility features expanded and established passenger areas, including a duty-free shop, security screening area, check-in area, and border control area.
