Heat, humidity make life miserable in north Kerala

Maximum temperatures in Kerala's northern districts have ranged between 32°C and 40°C, making daily life uncomfortable due to high humidity. Palakkad recorded the highest temperature of the season at 40.1°C, which is 3.4°C above the long-period average. Other districts such as Kozhikode, Kasaragod, Malappuram, and Kannur have also seen temperatures above their seasonal average.
